2. Alcohol

Alcohol and pregnancy are an incompatible duo. Consuming alcohol during pregnancy can lead to fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs), a group of conditions that can cause a range of physical, behavioral, and learning problems in your child. The risk is highest during the first trimester when the baby’s organs are forming. However, it’s safest to abstain from alcohol entirely throughout your pregnancy.
