The gestational diabetes test – also known as the 50-g screening test (oral glucose tolerance test / oGTT) or glucose challenge test (GCT) – is now a common screening test for expectant mothers. But even before and during your pregnancy, there are many things you can do to reduce the risk of gestational diabetes. A balanced diet, regular exercise and sport during pregnancy can help keep your blood glucose levels low during pregnancy.
