- 6 oz clear rum
- 1 oz orange liqueur
- 4 oz blood orange juice
- 6 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz cherry simple syrup
- 1 ⅓ cups (300 grams/11 ounces) cherries halved and pitted
- 1 oz water
- ¼ cup sugar (granulated or turbinado)
- 2 Fresh Cherries divided between each drink
- 2 oz Vanilla Whipped Cream divided between each drink

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the cherries, water, and sugar to make the cherry simple syrup. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the cherries are soft, about 10 minutes. Let it cool.
- Strain the mixture to remove the cherry skins and reserve the syrup.
- In a shaker, combine clear rum, orange liqueur, blood orange juice, pineapple juice, and cherry simple syrup. Fill with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Strain into glasses filled with ice.
- Top with a dollop of vanilla whipped cream, if desired, and garnish with a fresh cherry on top.
Notes
For a sweeter cocktail, adjust the amount of cherry simple syrup to taste. Make the cherry syrup in advance to save time.
