- 150 g Butter or Margarine
- 3 Free-range Eggs
- 250 g Caster Sugar (Superfine Sugar)
- 75 g Plain Flour (All-purpose Flour)
- 40 g Cocoa Powder
- 150 g Milk Chocolate
- 75 g White Chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and caster sugar until fluffy and pale.
- Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Gently fold in the plain flour, cocoa powder, milk chocolate chunks, and white chocolate chunks until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking tray and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the tray before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For extra texture, you can add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter before baking.
