Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the brewed espresso with the additional tablespoon of sugar until dissolved. Allow to cool.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  4. In serving cups, layer the soaked ladyfingers followed by a layer of the mascarpone filling. Repeat layers until cups are filled, finishing with the mascarpone layer.
