Description

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces ladyfingers
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup orange liqueur divided into (½ cup and ¼ cup)
  • 16 ounces mascarpone cheese room temperature
  • 16 ounces heavy cream chilled
  • ⅓ cup sifted cocoa powder
  • 13 ounces strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 32 ounces hulled and sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine ½ cup of orange liqueur with sliced strawberries.
  5. Dip ladyfingers one at a time into the liqueur mixture quickly, then layer them in a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Dust the top with sifted cocoa powder and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, garnish with fresh sliced strawberries and drizzle with remaining liqueur.

Notes
