Description
Delight your guests this Halloween with these spooky Spider Web Brownies, featuring a rich chocolate base and a creamy white chocolate web decoration.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup butter
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup white chocolate chips
- melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the cocoa powder until well combined, then remove from heat.
- Whisk in the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely. Melt the white chocolate chips and, using a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner cut off, drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled brownies to create a spider web pattern.
- Slice into squares and serve. Enjoy your Spider Web Halloween Brownies!
Notes
For a spooky effect, you can add plastic spiders or other Halloween decorations on top of the brownies before serving.
