Description

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour
  • Cream of tartar
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Unsalted butter
  • Granulated sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon and Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar for rolling.
  7. Scoop tablespoons of dough, roll them into balls, and then roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
