These Smashburger Quesadillas combine the best of a classic burger and a cheesy quesadilla for a delicious twist that’s perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- pickles
- diced onions
- burger sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
- Remove the beef from heat and set aside. In the same skillet, place one tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
- Layer half of the cooked beef mixture over the cheese, then add pickles and diced onions if desired. Fold the tortilla over to encase the filling.
- Cook the folded quesadilla in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling. Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve with burger sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, allow the beef to caramelize a bit while cooking. You can also add any other toppings you like!
