Description
These spooky Rice Krispies Brains are a fun and festive treat perfect for Halloween. Made with crispy rice cereal and colorful marshmallows, they are easy to make and delightful to eat.

- 5 cups (132g) Rice Krispies or any kind of crispy rice cereal
- ¼ cup (57g) unsalted butter
- 1 10-oz bag (283g) mini marshmallows about 8 cups
- red food coloring
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in a few drops of red food coloring to achieve your desired color.
- Add the Rice Krispies to the melted marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, cut into brain shapes using a cookie cutter or simply shape them by hand for a more rustic look.
Notes
For extra decoration, consider adding edible glitter or sprinkles on top before the mixture sets.
