These delightful Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins are a fun and festive twist on the classic treat, perfect for Halloween or fall gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 bag large marshmallows
- approximately 40 marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- Red & Yellow Liquid Food Coloring
- Mini Rolos
- Green M&M’s
- 1/4 cup cooking oil or melted butter in a small bowl
- to keep it from sticking to your hands
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat and add the marshmallows. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Add a few drops of red and yellow liquid food coloring until you achieve a vibrant orange color, then mix well.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies, stirring until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Grease your hands with cooking oil or melted butter, then grab a handful of the mixture and shape it into a ball. Slightly flatten the bottom to create a pumpkin shape.
- Place a Mini Rolo on top for the stem and add a Green M&M for the leaves. Repeat until all the mixture is shaped into pumpkins.
- Let the pumpkins cool and set before serving. Enjoy your festive treats!
Notes
Use more or less food coloring to achieve your desired pumpkin color. These treats can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
