Description

These Rice Krispie Treat Footballs are a fun and festive twist on the classic treat, perfect for game day celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 6 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups cocoa krispies
  • 1 cup white chocolate wafers
  • I used Ghirardelli

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the cocoa krispies until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased baking dish and allow it to cool.
  4. Once cooled, shape the treats into football shapes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate wafers in a microwave or double boiler and drizzle over the footballs to create laces.
  6. Let the chocolate set before serving.

Notes

For a more decorative touch, add colored sprinkles or edible glitter to the melted chocolate before it sets.
