- 1 (13.8-oz.) can refrigerated pizza crust dough (such as Pillsbury)
- 4 1/2 ounces low moisture part skim mozzarella
- shredded (about 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp.)
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- plus more for serving
- 6 tablespoons mini pepperoni (from 1 [5-oz.] pkg.)
- 1 1/2 ounces Parmesan cheese
- grated (about 6 Tbsp.)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Unroll the pizza crust dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares that can fit your skull-shaped mold.
- Press the dough squares into the skull mold and add a scoop of pizza sauce to each skull.
- Layer shredded mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese into each skull.
- Top each skull with another piece of dough, sealing the edges firmly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a minute before carefully removing from the mold.
- Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Feel free to customize your pizza skulls with other toppings such as vegetables or different cheeses. Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent leaking during baking.
