Ingredients
- Unsalted butter
- Powdered sugar
- Salt
- All-purpose flour
- White sugar
- Light brown sugar
- Eggs
- Corn syrup
- Vanilla extract
- Pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the salt and flour, mixing until just combined to form the crust.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the white sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the pecans and pour the filling over the baked crust.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
