- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cream or milk

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the raw sugar and cold butter; mix until crumbly.
- Add the heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the toasted pecans.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before glazing.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cream until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies and top with extra chopped pecans.
Notes
Ensure the butter is cold for a better texture. Adjust the glaze consistency by adding more cream if necessary.
