- 5 medium pears peeled
- cored
- and sliced (I used bartlett)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar (can use granulated sugar if preferred)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold butter diced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pears with lemon juice and place them in a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cold diced butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the pears in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
