- 6 medium pears
- peeled
- cored

- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, cinnamon, and cold, cubed butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, toss the sliced pears with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
- Spread the pear mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the oat topping over the pears.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are bubbly.
