- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter

- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pears, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
