Description

This Peach Dump Cake is an effortless and delightful dessert combining juicy peaches with a buttery cake topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 29 ounce can peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 15.25 oz. box yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 1 ½ sticks of butter and then mix in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Pour the undrained peaches into the prepared baking dish, spreading them evenly across the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the top of the cake mix.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
