- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 29 ounce can peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 15.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt 1 ½ sticks of butter and then mix in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar until dissolved.
- Pour the undrained peaches into the prepared baking dish, spreading them evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches.
- Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
