Description

1/4 cup granulated sugar for fruit filling

1 tablespoon cornstarch to thicken the filling

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon adds warmth to peach filling

1 pinch salt

1 cup old-fashioned oats for topping

1/2 cup all-purpose flour for topping

1/2 cup packed brown sugar for topping

1/2 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed

for topping


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Toss until the peaches are well coated.
  • Transfer the peach mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cubed butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the peach filling.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden and the peaches are bubbly.
