- 1 (14.3 ounce) package of Oreo cookies (33 cookies) not Thins or Double Stuffed
- 8 ounces brick-style full-fat cream cheese softened
- 16 ounces chocolate almond bark or chocolate melting wafers
- 1/4 cup white chocolate or white candy melts
Instructions
- Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely ground.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate almond bark or melting wafers according to package instructions.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, using a fork to remove excess chocolate. Return to the baking sheet.
- Melt white chocolate or candy melts and use a piping bag to decorate the dipped truffles like footballs.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
For extra decoration, use a piping bag to draw laces on the football truffles. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
