- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter

- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the soft caramel candies with milk or cream over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Press the coconut mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish to form an even layer.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until set, then cut into squares or bars to serve.
Notes
For an extra boost of flavor, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate before it sets.
