Description

These Mummy Rice Krispie Treats are a fun and festive treat that kids will love to make for Halloween. Easy to prepare and decorate, they are perfect for parties or just a fun activity at home.


Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows or 1 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 8 oz. white chocolate; melted or melting candy
  • 20 candy eye balls or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan and press down firmly.
  5. Let it cool at room temperature until set.
  6. Once set, cut into squares and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
  7. Decorate with candy eyeballs or mini chocolate chips to create mummy faces.

Notes

For easier cutting, let the mixture cool a little in the pan before cutting. You can also use different types of chocolate for decoration to suit your taste.
