4 large chicken breasts boneless skinless
12 pepperoncini peppers + 1/4 cup juice from the jar
1 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix I use Hidden Valley
1 (1 ounce) packet au jus gravy mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick) cut into pieces
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the chicken.
- Add the pepperoncini peppers and their juice to the dish.
- Dot the butter pieces on top of the chicken.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
Serve Mississippi Chicken over mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal. The leftovers are great for sandwiches!
