Description

Lemony Labneh and Garlic Scape Dip is a bright and creamy dip perfect for summer gatherings. The combination of labneh, garlic scapes, and fresh mint creates a refreshing flavor that pairs well with crackers or vegetables.


Ingredients

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

soaked in cold water overnight and drained

4 garlic scapes

2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

plus more for drizzling

1/2 cup labneh

1/4 cup mint leaves

plus more for garnish

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

plus more to taste

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1/2 ground white pepper


Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the soaked sunflower seeds and garlic scapes. Blend until smooth.
  • Add the extra virgin olive oil, labneh, mint leaves, sea salt, lemon zest, and ground white pepper. Blend until creamy and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with more sea salt if needed.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil. Garnish with extra mint leaves.

Notes

For a smoother dip, blend longer or add a little cold water if needed. Serve chilled for best flavor.
