- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- melted and cooled
- Peach marmalade or your favourite cream filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the milk and melted butter, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Scoop the dough using a spoon and place it on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with peach marmalade or your favorite cream filling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using almond extract in the dough or sprinkling powdered sugar on top before serving.
