- 1.5 cups Long-Grain White Rice
- 3 cups Chicken Broth or Water
- 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
- 0.5 cup Honey
- 1 medium Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
- Add chicken thighs to the skillet, browning them on both sides for about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the barbecue sauce and honey, stirring to coat the chicken evenly.
- Add the rice to the skillet, followed by the chicken broth or water. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
- Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
