Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1.5 cups Long-Grain White Rice
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth or Water
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the skillet, browning them on both sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour in the barbecue sauce and honey, stirring to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Add the rice to the skillet, followed by the chicken broth or water. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
  6. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
