15 wooden skewers (optional)
2 lbs ground beef* (or a mix of beef and pork)
1 egg
1/4 cup dried parsley (or 1/2 cup fresh parsley
minced)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder (or a few cloves of fresh garlic
minced)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, cumin, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Shape the beef mixture into kebabs around the skewers or form them into patties if not using skewers.
- Place the kebabs on the grill or a baking sheet if using the oven.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes on the grill or 25-30 minutes in the oven, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside fresh vegetables.
