Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
¼ cup dried minced onion flakes
2 (15-oz) cans Pork & Beans
6 Tbsp ketchup
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1¼ tsp salt
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
5 slices precooked bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the dried minced onion flakes, Pork & Beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Chop the precooked bacon into small pieces and sprinkle on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until bubbling and heated through.
Notes
Feel free to add in your favorite vegetables or use different types of beans for variation. This dish makes great leftovers and can be reheated easily.
