  • ½ cup (100g) light brown sugar

  • 1 ½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups (260g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well mixed.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Transfer the cookie dough to a cast-iron skillet and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. If using, drizzle the melted white chocolate on top to create football laces.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a more gooey texture, do not overbake. You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
