Description

A refreshing and delightful Ginger Peach Lemonade that combines the sweetness of peaches with the zing of ginger and the tartness of lemon.


Ingredients

  • 3 Peaches
  • pitted and sliced
  • 1 ½ inch Piece Ginger
  • peeled and sliced
  • ½ Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 5 Cups Cold Water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cut lemon slices

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sliced peaches, ginger, cane sugar, and 1 cup of water. Cook over medium heat until the peaches are soft and the sugar dissolves, about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then, blend the mixture until smooth.
  3. Strain the peach-ginger mixture through a fine sieve into a large pitcher to remove solids.
  4. Add the fresh squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher, stirring well to combine.
  5. Serve over ice cubes with fresh cut lemon slices.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
