- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- pounded to an even thickness (4 average-sized breasts)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons 21 Salute Seasoning or poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- or to taste
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- or to taste
- ½ cup white wine* or chicken broth
- or as necessary
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- or more if you want extra sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- finely minced; or to taste
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley
- optional for garnishing
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the pounded chicken breasts with the 21 Salute Seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in the white wine or chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom.
- Add the butter and minced garlic, stirring until the butter melts and the garlic is fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra sauce, feel free to increase the amount of butter. Adjust seasoning according to your taste preferences.
