2 teaspoons dried Italian herb seasoning
6 (4 ounce) chicken breast cutlets
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, and Italian herb seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken cutlets and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and simmer to create a sauce.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
