Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Warm Water Under 110 Degrees
  • 1 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and honey. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough and shape it into rolls. Place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can brush the rolls with melted butter right after baking.
