Description

This Fall and Winter Fruit Salad is a vibrant and refreshing mix of seasonal fruits, perfect for adding a touch of brightness to your table during the colder months.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 large Spanish persimmons (or 4 Fuyu persimmons)
  • 34 clementines
  • 56 kiwis
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 2 pears
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 apples
  • 1 orange
  • 2 Tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Start by zesting and juicing the lemon into a large mixing bowl to create a citrus base for the salad.
  2. Peel and chop all the fruits into bite-sized pieces, then add them to the bowl with the lemon juice.
  3. Carefully deseed the pomegranate and add the seeds to the mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the poppy seeds over the fruit salad and gently toss everything together to combine.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later to enhance the flavors.

Notes

Feel free to substitute any fruit based on availability; adding a drizzle of honey can enhance the sweetness.
