  • 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz. mascarpone
  • softened
  • but still a bit cool
  • 2 tsp espresso powder
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the Oreos in a food processor until finely ground, then mix with the melted butter.
  2. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.

  5. Spread the chocolate cream layer evenly over the cooled Oreo crust and refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
  6. For the espresso mascarpone whipped cream, whip together 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream, mascarpone, espresso powder, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  7. Spread the mascarpone whipped cream over the set chocolate layer. Chill again for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  8. Cut into bars and serve chilled for a delicious treat.

Notes

Allow the bars to chill adequately for the best texture. Experiment with the espresso powder for desired coffee flavor strength.
