Description

This Easy Slow Cooker Taco Pasta is a delicious and hearty dish that combines the flavors of tacos with pasta for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 15 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 15 ounce can corn drained
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 ½ cups water or low sodium chicken broth
  • 12 ounces shell pasta shapes uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the chopped bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, salsa, corn, taco seasoning, and chicken broth or water to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir to combine all ingredients, then cover and cook on low for 4 hours!
  4. After 4 hours, stir in the uncooked shell pasta, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Once cooked, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully integrated.
