- 1–2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 large Onion
- diced
- 4 cloves Garlic
- minced
- 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes
- don’t drain
- 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
- ⅓ cup Tomato Paste
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1–2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- Black Pepper
- 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta
- ½ cup Ricotta Cheese
- 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese
- shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ cup Fresh Parsley
- chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste, mixing well to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add water as needed to adjust the soup’s consistency.
- Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the soup to a simmer.
- Add the uncooked bowtie pasta and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Serve hot, topped with ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, and fresh parsley.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the quantity of water to achieve your desired soup consistency. You can also use different types of pasta.
