- 1 lb ground beef (85/15)
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion

- 2 cloves garlic

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes (if using), beef broth, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, reserving some for later.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
