Description
This Easy Caramel Apple Cheesecake combines the creamy richness of cheesecake with the sweet crunch of caramelized apples, all atop a buttery graham cracker crust.

- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream

- 1/4 cup (29g) powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until well combined and press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and flour, mixing until combined.
- Add sour cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined. Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Let cool at room temperature for about an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- While the cheesecake cools, prepare the caramel apple topping by sautéing the chopped apples with brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in caramel sauce and remove from heat.
- For the whipped cream, beat the cold heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until soft peaks form.
- Once the cheesecake is fully cooled, layer the caramel apple topping over the cheesecake and dollop with cinnamon whipped cream before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the cheesecake to chill overnight. Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a good balance of sweetness and tartness.
