Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 8 large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 cups chopped peaches fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs optional

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and chopped peaches until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine light brown sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, cornstarch, and water, then fold this mixture into the peach and cream cheese mixture.
  3. Prepare the biscuits by rolling them out slightly and cutting them in half to form the donut shape.
  4. Fill the center of each biscuit half with the peach cheesecake mixture and press the edges to seal.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat. Fry the donuts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, adjusting consistency as needed.
  8. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs if desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top when serving.
