- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and chopped peaches until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine light brown sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, cornstarch, and water, then fold this mixture into the peach and cream cheese mixture.
- Prepare the biscuits by rolling them out slightly and cutting them in half to form the donut shape.
- Fill the center of each biscuit half with the peach cheesecake mixture and press the edges to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat. Fry the donuts until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, adjusting consistency as needed.
- Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs if desired.
