Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar; mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until fully combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in flour and salt, then fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of the brownie base, spreading it out as needed.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
- Let cool before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh eggs and heat-treated flour for the cookie dough topping.
