- 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs

- 3 cups chicken broth
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- ½ small yellow onion
- finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic

- ½ teaspoon EACH: Onion Powder
- mustard powder
- dried thyme
- dried rosemary
- ¼ teaspoon EACH: Ground sage
- black pepper
- 1/3 cup flour
- ½ cup Half and half
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- or 1 tsp better than bouillon
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups frozen vegetables

- 5 cups warm mashed potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large pot, season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and set aside. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the herbs and spices, then stir in the flour to create a roux. Gradually whisk in the Half and half and the chicken broth until thickened.
- Add the shredded chicken, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cube, and frozen vegetables to the sauce, mixing well to combine.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to a baking dish and spread the warm mashed potatoes on top, smoothing them out.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
