Description

Delicious Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches featuring crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella, all wrapped in a warm French roll.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 4 french rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried basil.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs or breasts with the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even layer.
  4. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of baking, add a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each chicken piece and return to the oven until melted.
  6. While the chicken is baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Once the chicken is ready, assemble the sandwiches by placing the chicken in the French rolls and topping with marinara sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches!
