A delicious and easy Cherry Tomato Garlic Pasta that bursts with flavor from fresh ingredients.
Ingredients

- 200 grams (7 ounces) linguini pasta
- 650 grams (1.7 pounds) cherry tomatoes
- 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4–5 small sprigs of thyme
- 40 grams (½ small) onion minced
- 5 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 10–12 fresh basil leaves if too large

- sea salt
- freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Cook the linguini pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and thyme sprigs to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and dried oregano. Cook until the tomatoes burst and release their juices, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the pasta is ready, drain it and add it to the skillet with the tomato mixture. Toss to combine.
- Season with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Add fresh basil leaves and mix gently.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Feel free to substitute other pasta types and add grated Parmesan if desired.
