Description

These Cheesy Taco Sticks are a fun and delicious twist on traditional tacos, combining seasoned ground beef with melted cheese, all wrapped in flaky pizza dough.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough

5 sticks Colby jack and cheddar and/or pepper jack cheese sticks halved

4 tbsp butter melted

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried parsley


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning mix and prepare according to the package instructions.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a half stick of cheese on each rectangle.
  • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  • Brush each stick with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and dried parsley.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
