These Cheesy Stuffed Banana Peppers are a delightful fusion of creamy cheese and savory spices, perfect for a gluten-free appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 18 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 46 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 10 medium to large banana peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, basil, oregano, pepper, salt, mozzarella, and parmesan. Mix until well combined.
  3. Cut the tops off the banana peppers and remove the seeds. Be cautious and wear gloves if needed!
  4. Stuff each banana pepper with the cheesy mixture, pressing gently to fill them completely.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle additional grated parmesan on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is golden.
