1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
1/2 cup dairy milk
2 cups pre-cooked chicken either chopped or shredded
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups rice cooked (white or brown)
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional
for topping
2 cups broccoli florets lightly steamed (fresh or thawed from frozen)
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1 can approximately 10.5 oz / 300 g condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese grated and separated
1/2 teaspoon salt adjust as desired

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, pre-cooked chicken, broccoli florets, cream of chicken soup, dairy milk, Greek yogurt or sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese over the top, then sprinkle the breadcrumbs and melted butter if using.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to adjust the spices according to your preference. This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
