Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups Crushed Butterfinger candy bars about 3–4 bars
- 8 oz Cream cheese softened
- 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ cup Caramel sauce
- Optional crushed nuts or sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger candy bars and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place back on the baking sheet.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the coated truffles and, if desired, sprinkle with crushed nuts or sprinkles for decoration.
- Chill the truffles in the fridge for about 10 minutes to set the chocolate and caramel, then serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark or milk chocolate for the coating. You can store these truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
