4–5 peaches cored and cut into wedges. Leave the skin on
1 stick butter (8 tablespoons)
1 ¼ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup almond flour
3 tbsp bourbon
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a round baking pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the oven, then sprinkle ½ cup of sugar over it.
- Arrange the peach wedges in a circular pattern on top of the sugar and melted butter.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the remaining butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the bourbon, cinnamon, vanilla, baking powder, all-purpose flour, and almond flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the arranged peaches in the pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
